CMGC Senior Team Play Update

Our senior team finished first in the 2024 regular season.  The 2025 regular season began with a rough patch, but the team is now above .500. An early season highlight was the team’s participation in the league’s first annual President’s Cup. There are 16 courses in the league and each course fielded a 6-man squad for this event at Fairbanks Ranch CC. The format was BB of 2. Each squad’s score was based on the sum of the better ball score for each three two-man teams.  Coronado’s team score of -14 was 1 stroke better than Cottonwood and the Golf Club of California.  The team is proud to be the inaugural winner of this event!  Winning $200 each was also pretty nice! Look for the trophy at our May 13 General Meeting!
